FRIDay Symposium 2013
LIST OF ABSTRACTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE: POSTERS ORAL
The 2013 Front Range Isotope Day (FRIDay) Symposium will be held August 16, 2013 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. The symposium is open to both new as well as experienced stable isotope users in the Front Range.

9:00: Introduction (Francesca Cotrufo) and Welcome (John Moore, Director NREL)
9:10: Keynote – Jennifer Pett-Ridge: "Measuring the microbial niche: Chip-SIP analysis of carbon and nitrogen assimilation in complex microbial communities"
9:40: Oral presentations (20min. each; selected from abstracts)
10:20: Coffee break
10:40: Oral presentations, cont.

2:30: Breakout sessions
Coordination and integration among isotope facilities (for lab managers and directors)
Tales from the trenches: unique solutions to common challenges in isotopic research (lead by junior scientists)

Abstracts should be submitted to friday2013@colostate.edu before May 31, 2013. Please indicate in your email if you are submitting an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.
Location:
The symposium will be held on the first floor of the Clark Building (A-wing) at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. We will end the day with a tour of the EcoCore-IsoLab , located in the Natural and Environmental Sciences Building (NESB), followed by an afternoon mixer outside the building (weather dependent).
Maps and directions to Fort Collins and to the different buildings on the CSU campus are available from the Colorado State University website. To help locate the Clark and NESB buildings, we have highlighted the buildings and nearby parking lots on a CSU campus map. Free parking is available on any of the Z-lots.
